Caramel German Chocolate Cake

Mix cake mix according to package directions. Pour half in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes. Melt caramels, milk and butter until smooth and creamy. Pour on top of baked cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Pour rest of cake batter on top. Bake 25-30 minutes or until done. Cool and frost.

Frosting:
Heat together 1 c. marshmallows, chocolate, butter and milk until everything is melted. Add powdered sugar, nuts and marshmallows and mix well.
