Combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and melted butter. Press ½ mixture into 11 x 7 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on hot layer. Combine ice cream topping and 3 T. flour and pour over entire bottom, back and forth to cover. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.

Bake an additional 15 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares.
Note
To make a 9 x 13 inch pan, double the recipe.
