  1. Soften cheese to room temperature. Whip until fluffy. Gradually add milk while continuing to beat until well blended. Add lemon juice and vanilla. Blend well. Pour into crust. Chill 2 hours before putting filling on top. For filling, cook cherry juice, sugar and cornstarch until thick. Add drained cherries and put filling on the pie.
