Ingredients

¹⁄₂ cup sugar
1 cup Crisco shortening
1 cup brown sugar
2 cup plus 4 tablespoons flour
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
1 package (12 oz.) chocolate chips
1 tsp baking soda

Instructions

Cream together sugar, shortening and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Mix in remaining ingredients.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
