Heat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease and flour 12-cup Bundt pan. In large mixer bowl, blend flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs, shortening, milk and vanilla. Beat on low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on high speed 3 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clear. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely. Drizzle with Chocolate Glaze.
In small saucepan, bring sugar and water to rolling boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Immediately add chocolate chips; stir with wire whisk until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Cool until slightly thickened.
Microwave directions: In small bowl, microwave sugar and water on high, about 1 minute, or until boiling. Proceed as directed above.
To sour milk, use 1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar plus milk to equal 1 1/2 cups.
