Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (level tablespoons)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch of salt
  • Vanilla
Instructions
  1. Scald the milk. Mix the cornstarch, salt and sugar and add to beaten egg. Pour this mixture into the hot milk, stirring constantly, and boil until it thickens. Add vanilla to taste, approximately 1 teaspoon.
