Hot Fruit Compote

Ingredients
  • 1 large can (29 oz.) peach halves
  • 1 large can (29 oz.) pear halves
  • 1 large can (29 oz.) apricot halves
  • 1 large can (29 oz.) pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup sliced maraschino cherries
  • 1 tsp curry powder (up to 2 teaspoons to taste)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
  1. Drain fruit well and put into 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with curry powder. Mix together brown sugar and butter and pour over fruit. Bake 45 minutes at 325-350 degrees. Serve hot by itself or with ice cream.
