Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 10 inch tube pan.
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer set on medium speed, beat together butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and molasses.
In a small bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda.
Reduce mixer speed to low. Alternately beat the flour mixture and buttermilk into the egg mixture. Stir in the nuts.
In another large bowl, using an electric mixer set on medium speed, beat together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg.
In a small bowl, mix together the flour and baking powder.
Reduce mixer speed to low. Alternately beat flour mixture and milk into egg mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips.
In a small bowl mix together the butter and molasses. Spread topping evenly in prepared pan. Sprinkle with the nuts.
Alternately spoon the peanut and the chocolate batters into the pan. Using a knife, cut and twist through the batters to create a marbled effect.
Bake until toothpick inserted near center of cake comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Transfer pan to wire rack to cool completely. Turn cake out onto rack. Serve warm.
