  • 1 1/4 cup thick sour milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cup flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

    Measure the sifted flour and add the other dry ingredients to the flour. Beat the eggs. Add the sour milk and sugar to the eggs. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture. Add the nuts. Pour into a greased bread pan. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) for almost an hour.
