Description

Makes 2 1/2 pounds

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
  1. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Combine sugar and milk in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Immediately add chips, corn syrup, margarine and vanilla. Stir until fudge is smooth and creamy. Add nuts; stir just until mixed. Pour immediately into prepared pan. Spread quickly with spatula to give rippled top. Chill until firm, 1-2 hours. Cut into squares.
