Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda (dissolved in a little warm water)
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 4 cup flour (approximately)
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and cream, mixing in the baking soda and cream of tartar. Add enough flour to make a very stiff dough. Let dough rest at least 45 minutes. Roll on floured board, cut into shapes and bake 8-10 minutes in 375 degree oven. Frost and decorate.
